Motorists driving using the Church Street main road in Lucea, Hanover should expect delays as the authorities seek to effect repair to a damaged culvert. A damaged culvert lies at the heart of a less-than-desirable road experience for road users in Lucea, Hanover.
The roadway along Church Street in the parish is reportedly hampered with deficiencies, as locals air their dissatisfaction with the poor road condition. Community Relations Officer for the National Works Agency (NWA), Janelle Ricketts, says the agency will begin work to fix the damage. Ricketts says the nature of the works being done require a periodical closure of that section of the roadway. During this period, Ricketts says traffic will be diverted, urging motorists to prepare for possible delays. Watch the report:
