Wright Causes Seating Stir in Parliament

The seating of Westmoreland central Member of Parliament, George Wright created some heat in the Parliament on Tuesday, June 15. The Opposition Leader, Mark Golding is by no means receptive to the view of Speaker of the House, Dalrymple Philibert that Wright, a minority MP, belongs on the opposition benches.

 Leader of the opposition People’s National Party, Mark Golding on Tuesday, challenged House Speaker, Marisa Dalrymple-Philibert on the seating arrangement for Central Westmoreland Member of Parliament, George Wright. 

Dalrymple Philibert noted that wright, belonged on the opposition benches, given he no longer sits with the government.
