Early Friday morning a man and a toddler perished in a fire believed to be the work of arsonists, at Horizon Park, Spanish Town, St Catherine. The grieving mother who managed to escape the horrific tragedy describes how her daughter and boyfriend were killed, a nightmare which has left her scarred for life. She further explains the marauding gunmen were hell-bent on prolonging the horror.
Assistant Commissioner of Police assigned to the Spanish Town Division, Fitz Albert Linton says the police responded to a call about 4 am of a 2 bedroom house on fire.
Residents of the community are left grief stricken and paralysed with fear.
The Spanish Town police say they are following strong leads and hope to make an arrest soon. More details here:
