Matthew Rodney is now putting his activism towards politics. Rodney, who was employed as a bartender at the S hotel in St. James, made claims of racism in a viral video earlier this year. Rodney alleged that he was dismissed unfairly.
Speaking at a People’s National Party meeting in Central St. James, he highlighted his willingness to stand with the party for a change.
Rodney accepts that as a political neophyte, he will require guidance and knowledge. He is also encouraging young people to not shy away from politics.
