Mechanic Murdered In St James

A St James mechanic is dead and two others injured following a brazen afternoon attack on Monday. 

Police reports are that at about 3:20, 48-year-old mechanic, Robert Gooden and two other men were in the yard in Greenwood where Gooden plies his trade when gunmen pounced.

When the shooting ended, residents found the men suffering from gunshot wounds. The police were summoned and on their arrival, Gooden was seen lying face down motionless in blood, with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to his head.

The other injured men were taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where they were admitted in stable condition. However, Gooden was pronounced dead at hospital.
