The Ministry of Education is advising that based on the updates from the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) and the Meteorological Office, schools can open for face-to-face classes on Monday where it is safe to do so.
Based on reports from seven regions as to the impact of the weather conditions in their locality, Boards and Principals are being advised to exercise caution in deciding whether to have face-to-face learning on Monday, September 26, 2022. The Ministry of Education also wishes to advise the public that reports circulating on social media that schools will be closed tomorrow, September 26, 2022 are false.
