With Friday commemorated as International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women 2022, Opposition Senator Donna Scott Mottley again drew attention to the matter implicating a former Jamaica Labour Party Member of Parliament in the viral beating of a woman.
The Shadow Minister of Justice says with recent inference from Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton to seeking to look favourably at the Member of Parliament, the only way Jamaicans can accept the accused Member of Parliament is if he confesses and seeks pardon.
She was speaking during a sitting of the Senate, Friday.
