Golding says $2,000 note is a distraction, as it will not help people living from hand to mouth. He calls out the government for lack of communication, for not consulting with the opposition on such a matter that is much bigger than a family decision. Golding labels the move a disrespect. The opposition leader, while accepting his submission, questioned the relevance of the changes with Michael Manley on an existing note.
