Justice Minister Delroy Chuck is apologizing for his comments during a sitting of the joint select committee
Minister of Justice Delroy Chuck has come under fire for his recent comments on sexual harassment.
Chuck while speaking at a joint select committee meeting at Gordon House, where the sexual harassment bill was being examined, made the suggestion that victims of sexual harassment either report the matter within 12 months after the incident or forget about it, while jeering at the idea of a me too movement occurring in Jamaica.
His comments have sparked outrage on Twitter with some users calling for his resignation and some indicating that it is not the first time he has made such offensive comments.
