Emerging from the Manchester Parish Council Meeting, Thursday were petitions for the constant pile of garbage in the town of Mandeville.
One councilor proposed clean-up days in various communities across the municipality. Another petition brought to the Parish Council was related to a noise nuisance. Calls are being made for the police to intervene.
However, Mayor and Chairman of the Manchester Municipality Donavon Mitchell explain the noise abatement act is not in the hands of the municipality.
