Residents in the Trench Town community are mourning the death of the corporal. It is reported that one of the gunmen was killed during the shootout with the police.
A sense of sadness lingered in the voices of the residents who lamented the daily fond memories they shared with Corporal Oliver Mullings.
They describe him as a personable policeman, who prioritized building a strong bond with the residents in the community. Mullings was also hailed for his policing skills and how much he cared about protecting the community.
