Political tension is escalating in South Eastern Clarendon after another alleged attack on a Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) supporter in Rocky Point on Thursday morning.
JLP candidate for South-east Clarendon Pearnel Charles Jr believes the incident is a deliberate attempt to intimidate his supporters.
On Monday Paul Henry a known JLP activist was gunned down outside his home shortly after completing political work.
Charles says despite claims that the incidents are not politically motivated the facts say otherwise.
The PNP candidate Patricia Duncan Sutherland is rejecting the claims by Charles Jr.
In an interview with CVM LIVE, the Political Ombudsman, Donna Parchment Brown who visited Rocky Point on Thursday, says so far there is no indication that the attack was politically motivated.
