Jamaica’s Election Fever…A Public Health Crisis?

 

There are growing fears that the General Election may cause a public health crisis as Coronavirus, COVID-19 infections increases on the island. The medical community is calling out the supporter and politicians for flouting the COVID-19 measures.

The new lockdown measures which limit the movement of people in Kingston, St. Andrew, St Catherine and Clarendon came into effect on August 23. Our news reporter Jamaila Maitland was on the streets:
