And over in the North East St Ann, both parties are represented by newcomers hoping to pick up where the late Shahine Robinson left off. First-time candidates Keith Brown and Marsha Smith have their eyes on the prized North Eastern St. Ann seat.
Keith Brown is the People’s National Party (PNP) candidate while Marsha Smith is representing the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP).
For almost twenty years the late Shahine Robinson served as Member of Parliament for the constituency.
Marsha smith is hoping to maintain the legacy of the long time member of parliament.
Brown says he has been on the ground for the last five months working with citizens across the constituency. Meanwhile, the JLP candidate says she is looking to continue projects that the former MP started.
