Proper Waste Management Needed Within The Health Sector

Minister of Health Dr. Christopher Tufton broke ground today for the expansion of the sewage treatment plant at the St. Ann’s Bay Regional Hospital, in St. Ann. This is among several projects that are in the pipeline, as health officials seek to transform the hospital from a type-b level facility to a type a.  

Dr. Tufton however believes that more needs to be done in managing waste within the health sector.
