Having issued a joint call for the extension of the States of Public Emergency, which was voted down in the Senate just hours ago, a group of business organizations, led by the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica, who had advocated for its extension, has reacted to the outcome of the vote.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the business organizations encouraged a unified approach to crime fighting, one that is without politicization
