Sangster International Airport (SIA) has been named the Caribbean’s Leading Airport for 2024 by the World Travel Awards, highlighting its dedication to superior service and operational excellence.

Sangster International Airport (SIA) has been awarded the Caribbean’s Leading Airport 2024 by the esteemed World Travel Awards. This distinguished accolade underscores SIA’s unwavering commitment to delivering superior service and operational excellence.

The prestigious World Travel Awards recognize, reward, and celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries and is recognized globally as the ultimate hallmark of industry excellence. Winners are determined through a rigorous process, including input from industry professionals and travellers worldwide, making this recognition a testament to SIA’s outstanding performance and reputation in the travel industry. Sangster International Airport is proud to claim this title for 2024 and for the 16th consecutive year.

Mr. Shane Munroe, Chief Executive Officer of MBJ Airports Limited, the company that manages and operates the Sangster International Airport on behalf of the Government of Jamaica, was quite pleased with this win. “We are immensely proud to receive this award, which reflects the hard work and dedication of the entire airport team,” said Munroe. “It reinforces our commitment to excellence as we continuously strive to enhance the passenger experience through our ongoing initiatives and upcoming projects.”
