As crime continues to plague the once peaceful parish, St. Thomas, the police are renewing their efforts to clamp down on criminals who continue to disrupt peace and invoke fear in residents.
This has led to a renewed call for the parish’s most wanted man 29-year-old Nesta Morrison to turn himself in. Morrison, who is more popularly known as ‘Grimey Boss’ or ‘Bigga Crime’ has been listed as a wanted man several times.
He is also said to be the leader of the Tankwell gang that has been wreaking havoc in 11 Miles, Bull Bay.
Senior Communications Strategist in the Jamaica Constabulary Force, Dennis Brooks says Morrison is wanted for multiple crimes.
He says a joint Anti-Gang Task Force has been mobilized to apprehend the wanted man and his cronies.
Meanwhile, Brooks is also warning people against harboring criminals. The recently passed Firearms Bill is expected to aid in deterring criminals, as penalties are far more radical.
