The family of Savion Hinds is demanding justice after he was fatally shot in an alleged extra-judicial killing by the police on Monday morning.
Representatives from the Ministry of National Security visited the community on Wednesday, June 17, along with members of the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) and the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) to express their sympathies but to all call for an end to the violent protests.
