Principal of the Carron Hall primary school in St. Mary, Brenton Pinnock, is seeking answers following a suspected arson attack on the school property recently. He told our news team this is the second such attack in recent times.
Mr. Pinnock says he believes the school is not a target adding it is evident that the perpetrators may be mentally unstable. The principal says the school is lacking the proper security measures and is in dialogue with the Ministry of Education.
However, these recent attacks are concerning and raise questions about the safety of the institution.
The Highgate police have launched an investigation into the matter. Security has been a major concern for several primary schools this year where similar and other attacks have taken place.
