The Metrological Service of Jamaica has issued a Tropical Storm Watch for the island as an area of low pressure over the central Caribbean has the potential to develop into a Tropical Storm by tonight. With this Tropical Storm conditions pose a threat to Jamaica within the next forty-eight hours.
The Met Service is urging fishermen to exercise extreme caution. The Met Service says at 4 pm Potential Tropical Cyclone Number 15 was located 230 miles southeast of Morant Point.
