Two Killed in Manchester Drive-by Shooting

Two men were killed and one injured in a drive-by shooting in Williamsfield, Manchester Friday afternoon.  Police reports are that shortly after midday, the three men were among four in a Mercedes Benz when they stopped at a Jerk Centre in Williamsfield.

Upon exiting their vehicle, the three men were sprayed with bullets by unknown assailants in a motorcar. They were hit multiple times. This killing is among several others in the parish since the beginning of the year.

Consequent to the news, Founder of Jamaica Restoration Ministry, Reverend Mark Stewart says he is fed up with the rate of crime.  He says Jamaicans have turned away from God and insists that is the reason for the scourge of crime in the country.

He says the massive culture shift is costing the nation its peace. Nonetheless, he says the clergy continues to play its part in ridding the nation of criminality. He says even members of the Christian community are involved in crime.
