There has been growing interest in the usage of the $20 million Constituency Development Fund (CDF) afforded to Members of Parliament, to finance issues affecting their constituencies. Ranging from rental of office space to developmental projects and even salaries, tonight we are joined by Opposition Spokesperson on Transport and Works and Manchester north western Member of Parliament Mikael Phillips, who was first elected 10 years ago, for his perspective on the positives, negatives and potential improvements for the CDF allocation mechanism.
