Question have been raised regarding the political response to the COVID-19 pandemic, with recent calls from the leader of the People’s National Party, (PNP) Mark Golding, for greater collaboration between the Opposition and Government in the fight against the pandemic coupled with Chairman of the National Health Fund, (NHF) Howard Mitchell‘s call for Prime Minister Andrew Holness to step in and take charge of the country’s vaccination programme.
