Within moments of beginning his address to the 79th annual conference of the JLP, party leader and Prime Minister Andrew Holness spoke directly to Jamaica’s Diaspora, highlighting a number of positive developments towards accomplishing the targets of vision 2030 and stating his ambition to repair the brain drain.
In this Panel Discussion, we are joined by two members of the estimated 3 million strong diaspora, to ask their perspective on the Prime Minister’s speech as well as the sentiments within the Jamaican Community abroad, of what is required for greater levels of repatriation and investment. We welcome Hylton Dennis, Author and former executive director and Vice President of the press association of Jamaica, and Wilfred Rattigan, Attorney at law and former FBI official.
