Exploring the Return of the Civics Curriculum

The clamor for the return of civics to the nation’s classrooms has finally been answered, with its re-introduction into the national standards curriculum at all levels. Set to commence in the new school term, the addition is hoped to help foster a sense of national pride and awareness in a new generation of Jamaicans, many of whom have been described as having lost a certain degree of civility. We discuss what the future holds with, President of the  National Parent-Teacher Association of Jamaica (NPTAJ) Stewart Jacobs and the President of the Jamaica Association Of Principals Of Secondary Schools, Linvern Wright.
