Exploring the State of Emergency, Threat of Organized Crime

In our Panel Discussion, we reflect on this Tuesday’s press conference at the Office of the Prime Minister, where a public state of emergency that spans several parishes was announced and Prime Minister Andrew Holness spoke of the threat organized crime poses to the state. We discuss with former Commissioner of Police and former Chief of Staff of the Jamaica Defence Force Rear Admiral Hardley Lewin and Chairman of the Crime Monitoring and Oversight Committee Lloyd Distant.
