The COVID-19 pandemic has not only exposed disparities in our healthcare system but has also slowed research in critical areas and precipitated a crisis in Jamaica’s overall healthcare system. How do we handle our current healthcare emergencies and the need for research in areas such as stroke, cancer, and neuroscience?
