Jamaica: Assessing the Corruption Perception Index

Corruption Perception Index – Jamaica has improved its ranking by just one place in 2020 transparency international barometer. This marginal improvement still sees Jamaica perceived as the fifth most corrupt country in the Caribbean; Still, a failing grade, indicating that we still have some ways to go in our anti-corruption framework.

In this Panel Discussion, we talk about where we are lagging and where much work needs to be done to improve our performance on the integrity scale.

We are joined by Janette Calder, Founder, and Conceptualizer Jamaica Accountability Meter Portal (JAMP), and Dr. Canute Thompson, Senior Lecturer in Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership.
