The anticipated economic fallout of COVID-19 is already projected to set the Jamaican economy back significantly. But the impact of learning losses will make this stark economic reality even more frightening. Tonight we talk about the impact of school closures, remote learning and COVID-19 uncertainties on the education system and especially on the nation’s children and young people. To discuss we are joined by Dr. Kasan Troupe, Acting Chief Education Officer, and Elaine Foster Allen Former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education Youth And Information.
