Jamaica’s Tourism Recovery Driven by Travel from the U.S

We have been hearing the news about what has been happening in Jamaica’s Tourism sector.

The Tourism Ministry has reported that 50 thousand people are now back in jobs within the last six months.

The entire sector was shut down in March last year as the COVID -19 cases increased. These numbers show signs of recovery and the rebound of Jamaica’s Tourism industry.

But is there a need for worry with the increase yet again of COVID-19 cases?

And will this increase negatively impact the improvements we have seen in the sector?

Minister of Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett joined the CVM Live Panel Discussion.
