The Government, in partnership with the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (JHTA), has launched A COVID-19 Ambassador Programme, targeting the promotion of proper hygiene in the tourism sector. In addition, the JHTA has a number of suggestions on how to treat with tourists, including the testing versus the quarantine debate, the Centres for Disease Control’s classification of Jamaica at level 4, their highest rating, and the need to start the conversation on vaccines. To discuss these and more we are joined on CVM LIVE’s Panel Discussion by Clifton Reader, the President of the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association and Dr. K’adamawe K’nife, UWI Mona Lecturer in Social Entrepreneurship.
