Strategies to Eliminate Gender Based Violence

Since Covid-19, there’s been a marked increase in the reports of Gender Based or Domestic Violence across the country — mirroring what’s happened across the world. With the establishment of two government shelters for women who’re victims of Gender Based Violence; women have places to go to get away from their abusers. 

Hence, we explore the strategy to deal with and eliminate Gender Based Violence. We are joined by Deputy Superintendent Jacqueline Dillon, JCF and Domestic Violence Intervention Liaison Officer and Gender Activist Imani Duncan Price.
