Having bizarrely tabled the wrong regulations for the State of Public Emergency for St. Catherine earlier this week, Members of Parliament were asked to return for a sitting on Thursday. To allow for the tabling of the correct regulations which are in keeping with the recent court ruling in favour of Roshaine Clarke, which found aspects of the detention provisions to be unconstitutional.
Joining us this evening to explore how the new regulations have been amended we are joined by head of the litigation department at Myers Fletcher & Gordon Gavin Goffe and Mickel Jackson, Executive Director of Jamaicans For Justice.
