On this panel discussion we explore some of the legal arguments relating to the death penalty in Jamaica and potentially some philosophical ones as well. Are human rights getting in the way of justice? What is justice without human rights? Is death the ultimate deterrent? And would the realistic re-establishment of the death penalty in Jamaica make a difference to crime?
To explore the issues we are joined by two legal luminaries, President of the Jamaica Bar Association, Alexander Williams and Attorney-At-Law, Peter Champagnie QC.
