Almost two years into a global COVID-19 pandemic, in which digital divide has been a major concern and learning losses in the region have been at the highest rate in the world, the adoption of online teaching has become a necessity to stave off further losses.
However, according to a recent CAPRI study, a staggering 44% of the people that were surveyed were without internet access and 20% without a device. What has been done by private enterprises and the Government to help bridge the digital divide?
