Elaine Thompson Take Gold Medal In Peru



Elaine Thompson won the 100m title at the 2019 Pan Am Games in Lima, Peru. The 27-year-old, who won 100m and 200m titles at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, was the fastest qualifier to the women’s 100m final. She is quoted saying, “I had to concentrate a lot because the weather in Lima is not the kind of weather I am used to, but I stayed focused and made sure to take the gold medal."
