Paralympic Athlete Awarded $1.1 million Towards Tuition

A cheque valued at 1.1 million dollars was handed over to Chadwick Campbell from Fersan Limited to further his study at UWI. 

Campbell, who won the silver medal in the e13 100m at the Para Panam Games in Lima, Peru, a few months ago, is currently studying marketing and is in the 1st year of a four year course. The relationship between Fersan and The Jamaica Paralympic Association started as far back as 2012 when they sponsored the team to the London Games, but its the 1st time they have assisted an individual athlete. Campbell appreciated the assistance.
