Kingston, Jamaica – The 2022/23 season of the Premier League could be settled next Wednesday (April 26) in a clash of mammoth proportions, and CSport, the exclusive broadcast rights holders of the Premier League in the Caribbean, will be bringing the showdown to the big screen at Palace Cineplex, Sovereign.
As one of the most dramatic climaxes to a season nears its thrilling conclusion, defending champions Manchester City will be facing top of the table Arsenal in a match that neither side can afford to lose. CSport will be hosting Premier League Live: The Cinema Edition to give its active subscribers in Jamaica the chance to have an unrivalled experience as the two best teams in the league go head-to-head.
“This showdown could potentially decide where the Premier League trophy ends up come the final day of the season, so it is only right that we give league fans and our subscribers a chance to experience it in a setting that matches the magnitude of the contest,” said Carlo Redwood, Chief Commercial Officer of VertiCast Media.
He continued, “This is as close to the pitch as one can get without actually being there. Manchester City is smelling blood right now but Arsenal have topped the table from week one. This is expected to be the ‘match of the season’ and we are creating an experience at Palace Cineplex that will be one for the books.”
Long-time league leaders Arsenal have stayed atop the table since the start of the competition but back-to-back draws at Liverpool and West Ham have opened the door to defending champions Manchester City who have a game in hand on their rivals. Premier League Live: The Cinema Edition will feature pre and post-game entertainment, the chance to win team merchandise, and other exciting giveaways. The experience is sponsored by KFC, Red Stripe, Pepsi, Fyah 105 and CVM-TV.
“The Pepsi brand has a strong association with football, both locally and internationally. We look forward to providing a unique viewing experience to all fans in attendance next Wednesday to watch one of the most important games of the season,” said Yanique Dawkins, Brand Coordinator of Pepsi Cola Jamaica
To access the free tickets to the experience, active CSport subscribers are invited to visit csport.tv. Winners will be randomly selected.
